Since May 2013 Andreas is Head of Transition Management at RWE Group Business Services (GBS) in Essen and in parallel Managing Director of RWE GBS Polska Sp. z o.o. He is responsible for setting up RWE’s Shared Service Center in Kraków including integration of RWE IT Poland as well as the overall coordination of multiple transitions including Centers of Expertise in Germany.
Andreas has worked for RWE in different leadership positions with a particular focus on Poland. In RWE Polska, Andreas was responsible for Internal Audit (2003-2006) and Controlling (2006-2008). In addition, he led several integration projects in real estate as well as in IT (e.g. infrastructure, SAP implementation). After successful integration of RWE Polska in 2008, Andreas returned to Essen and led growth and M&A projects in the RWE East region.
Before joining RWE in 2000, Andreas worked in Lobbying and Natural Gas Contract Management in Wingas/ Wintershall.
Andreas holds academic degrees in Economics and Business Administration.
He is 48 years old and lives with his wife and three children in Essen.
