Graduated as programmer-mathematician and archaeologist at Eötvös University Budapest then completed his studies at the Faculty of Economic Manager at the Manager Training Institute of the Budapest University of Economics.
He was consultant at Deloitte & Touche, then project manager at IBM Hungary, where he headed the e-business division.
As of June 2002, he serves as Deputy Under-secretary of the Ministry of Informatics and Communications responsible for Information Society Development Programs. He awarded with Neumann prize, the highest Government recognition in the field of Informatics and Telecommunications.
Since 2003 he nominated as Ministerial Commissioner. In his position Mr. Suhajda established the Hungarian Technology Center in the USA and he was its Managing Director until 2004. From 2004 he returned to IBM and appointed to Governmental Programs Executive. In 2005 he established the Hungarian Services and Outsourcing Association (HOA). He is a Curator of the Foundation of Services Sciences Center of Excellence and member of the Board of the Confederation of Hungarian Employers and Industrialists.
He is member of the Advisory Board of HITA, the Hungarian Investment and Trade Agency. Attila and his wife Andrea live in Budapest. They have 2 sons.
